New research from the National Watermelon Promotion Board shows 75% of U.S. households purchase watermelons, expanding across Grocery, Mass, Club, and even Online channels as younger, more diverse households fuel growth.
By prepping the soil with TELONE™, watermelon growers create a zone of protection around the root zone where plants can establish faster, grow stronger, and deliver the quality and volume today’s markets demand. Growers in the southeast are busy getting ready for their winter TELONE™ applications ahead of the spring season.

# Agricultural Equipment # Reddick Equipment: Custom Equipment # Reddick Equipment: Skid SprayersWhen we think of potatoes, we often think of the Pacific Northwest, but did you know that Florida grows between 20,000-30,000 acres of potatoes each year, valued at more than $105 million in 2024.
In Florida, potato varieties have adapted for warm, short winters. Production is often for “new potatoes” (fresh market) rather than long-term storage varieties found in the PNW. Florida favorites include white-skinned types like “LaChipper”, “Sebago”, and “Yukon Gold”, and red-skinned types like “Red LaSoda” and “LaRouge”.
Because Florida has sandy soils, warm winters, and relatively short cool seasons, varieties that mature early and handle heat/humidity and disease pressure are favored. But that doesn't mean these potatoes are immune to nematodes!
Using TELONE™ helps improve potato quality, increase marketable yields, and leaves behind zero residuals, so nothing ever comes in contact with your crop.
