Trident's Idaho sugar beet trial is underway with soil fumigation using CPM 65. This application is the first step in our effort to enhance sugar percentage and increase tonnage per acre. While the process is just beginning, establishing healthy soil is essential for supporting strong crop performance throughout the season.
Trident Ag's Eastern Idaho potato trial is underway with a new round of soil fumigation using Strike™, powered by Chloropicrin. This early stage sets the foundation for the season, helping manage soilborne pests and diseases and preparing the field for healthy potato growth. We look forward to monitoring progress as the trial continues.
Our PNW TELONE™ Specialists, Robin Matson and Dusty Allen, are on-site at the Pacific Northwest Vegetable Association Conference & Trade Show in Kennewick, WA. Teleos is a proud PNVA member and lunch sponsor for the event. The Pacific Northwest Vegetable Association represents vegetable growers from Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. To the Association, the smallest specialty crop grower is just as important as the largest corporate farm that has thousands of acres. Both fill a specific need in the marketplace.
Trident Ag recently traveled to Idaho to collaborate with our affiliated partner, Teleos Ag, for an in-depth presentation on two powerful soil fumigation solutions: TELONE™ by Teleos Ag and Chloropicrin.
We call it:
Teleos Ag + Trident Ag = One and Done.
Last month, Trident Ag Products had the opportunity to spend three days in Idaho connecting with incredible partners and reinforcing the importance of stewardship across our industry. A huge thank you to Robert Rauert for representing Trident Ag. You showcased our mission.
From our early days to where we stand today, our mission has remained the same: helping farmers build healthier soil, grow stronger crops, and maximize their yields. We’ve had the privilege of working with incredible growers, industry partners, and dedicated team members who have made this journey possible.
Trident Ag conducting a potato field trial at Rupert, Idaho to address the challenges of "early die" in potatoes. This trial focuses on utilizing Chloropicrin, the active ingredient in Strike™ Soil Fumigant, to effectively manage pathogens and promote healthier, more resilient crops.
Trident Ag and Teleos Ag collaborated to host a Stewardship Meeting in Idaho with Nutrien Ag Solutions and Simplot Grower Solutions, bringing together industry professionals, experts, and participants for an informative and engaging event.
In 2023, Trident Agricultural Products conducted field trials in Idaho, focusing on kidney beans for seed production. The trials aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of PIC 100 (Chloropicrin) at low dosage rates of 2.5 GPA and 5 GPA at maximizing yield and income gain in comparison to non-fumigated checks.
Nematodes are a common pest in potato-growing areas, particularly in the Pacific Northwest. This blog post will cover common nematodes affecting potatoes in the Pacific Northwest, and recap a potato field trial that was done to demonstrate TELONE™ efficacy.
