Experienced Research Scientist with a strong working history in agricultural research, at universities, government and private organisations. Vast experience in soil borne disease pathogens in potatoes, orchards,, wheat, onion, rice, tomatoes and peppers and developing sustainable disease management strategies. Skilled in Bioassays, Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR),Pesticide evaluation protocol development, Public Speaking, Statistics, Experimental designs (invitro, greenhouse and field), Data handling and analysis, report writing (manuscripts & publications) Molecular Biology and Leadership. Strong agricultural research professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology from Texas A&M University. Currently works on potato, onion, carrots, fruit tree and many other crops grown in the PNW which requires soil borne disease management. Current research involves soil health studies

The trials aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of PIC 100 (Chloropicrin) at low dosage rates of 2.5 GPA and 5 GPA at maximizing yield and income gain in comparison to non-fumigated checks.
