Trical Grape Field Trial (Modesta, CA): Documented Importance of Soil Fumigation
In the Fall of 2019, Dr. Kristi Sanchez began a Grape Field Trial in Modesto, CA, investigating soil fumigation methods and their impact on vineyard performance. The trial focused on assessing TriClor adoption in vineyards alongside the performance of TELONE™ II.

It was an honor to get invited by one of our Scientists, Dr. Kristi Sanchez. It was remarkable to see her in action out in the field, doing what she does best: helping diagnose nematode issues and providing support to growers throughout the Central Valley.

Growing Greater Grapes – Modesto Trial Update
By utilizing pre-plant fumigants in a vineyard – such as TriClor (Chloropicrin) and TELONE™ II (1,3-Dichloropropene) – growers can reduce the total parasitic nematode pressure within the soil where the grapes are being planted.
